Chamkili. Part 16, The Hunter and the Prey

                        Chamkili
                        Part 16
                 The Hunter and the Prey

Her back rose and fell gently, indicating that she was still deep in sleep. The duvet covering them had slid to her waist in the back, while she clutched the front of it to her chest, along with one of his hands. She mumbled something in her sleep and he couldn’t help but smile, her voice had sounded a little whiny, and he was sure she was dreaming about him, complaining about something or the other. He treasured these few moments every morning, looked forward to them, in fact. These were the simple moments, the ones he had craved his entire life, the ones that had eluded him, and the ones that actually mattered. And so he held on to these moments, clasping them in his palm, closing his fingers tightly around them, making sure that these moments would not escape him again, unaware that the tighter his grip got, the faster they’d slid from his hold…

She stirred a little and then her hold on his hand loosened. She was awake, and he knew that. Well, he knew that she would be on edge after last night and had he been Mr. Merciful Singh Raizada, he could have pretended to be asleep and let her slip off the bed quietly. But no, he was Arnav Singh Raizada…

She felt the cold touch of his finger on her lower-back and a shiver passed through her entire body. It was after quite a while that the haze dissolved and she noticed that her husband wasn’t just drawing random patterns on her back, but was actually writing something… o r n i n g… she smiled at that and then nodded lightly. She felt him rub her back then, as if he was erasing something written on a board. Some long forgotten memory of rubbing an eight year old Payal’s back while playing the same game floated in her mind, before the ravishing sensuality of the present moment overpowered the untouched innocence of the previous one. He was writing on her again and her mind struggled with her body to make sense of it… S o r r y…

She lay still… thinking… contemplating. When and how had he changed so much? Was it really her, was she the one who had managed to change him so much. She turned to him then, hugged him to her.
“It’s okay, I understand.” She always did and it made him feel like the biggest jerk in the world. He hid his face in the crook of her neck and let out a sigh.

It had been quite some time. They didn’t want the moment to end, but it did.

They had to head back to their real lives soon, leaving this dream world behind. She was in the wash-room, freshening-up, and he was busy with packing, frankly Khushi had many talents but organized packing was one of his. However, with the amount of trinkets that she had managed to get for everyone, it was becoming almost impossible. She came out of the wash-room right when he chained the over-stuffed bag.

“Oh Arnavji, I needed to get my pink shawl from the bag.” Arnav groaned but opened it anyway.

“It won’t always be like this you know.” She said while brushing her hair, her back to him.

“Hmm?” he halted amidst tying the knot of his tie.

“I might not be so easy to pacify every-time, you can’t take me for granted.”

“I know Khushi and I am really sorry. I don’t know what came over me last night. He was just sprouting bull-shit about you and I couldn’t take it. But, that’s no excuse, I shouldn’t have taken it out on you.” He had moved closer to her and was holding her arms by the end of that very passionate admission.

“It’s okay Arnavji, I understand” she said while planting a chaste kiss on his lips.

“I don’t deserve you Khushi.” He would come to regret these words soon…

“Well, that’s for me to decide.” She had no inkling of the choices and decisions that lay ahead of her… but she’ll know soon…

He saw the SUV leave the hotel grounds. The couple seemed happy, subconsciously attuned to one another,  a romantic person might even say they were made for each other or that they were so in love. But he was not a romantic, he didn’t even believe in happiness or humanity. No… he was a hunter… a predator. And it had been quite a while since he had found a chase worth his while, he was going to have his fun. And by time he was done not even the ruins of the lovely couple would be left behind for their loved ones to commemorate.

The unattended wounds from last night were blue in the morning cold, blue and raw. He wanted to keep those raw, he wanted a reminder, needed the pain... the pain made him feel alive and he hadn’t felt this alive in a long long time.  A predatory smile grazed his lips…Hunter was ready for the hunt…

AN: Hey guys, so long time huh? Sorry about that but I was going through a writers block and had to delete 4 drafts before coming up with this crap. Arhi FF Chamkili. Ch-15C 'Chamkili on Honeymoon (C)'

                             Chamkili
                                                PART-15C
                       Chamkli on Honey-moon

“Hey Aarnav, we are headed to the Royale Club, you wanna join dude.” Michael asked his fellow class-mate who just happened to pass-by the SUV they were all in. But before he could answer, Hunter spoke.

“Come-on now Mike, don’t embarrass the poor guy, like he could even dream of it.” He smirked, eyeing the clenched fist and barely contained anger of his adversary.

“What? You wanna hit me? Huh? Give it a shot dude. However, I am not very sure if you are gonna like the mess you’ll definitely land in.” Arnav looked him in the eye, wanting desperately to unleash the rage in him and yet struggling fiercely to rein it in.

“You filthy little parasites! Bloody terrorists! Coming to our country and then sucking on all that’s ours, bloody suckers! And then you have the guts to call us racists for squishing you like the roaches that you are.” Hunter deliberately gave another push, and Arnav was ready to stake all he has gained in the last few years for the momentary pleasure of beating the life out of this bastard. He would have done it then, even if he had to regret it for the rest of his damned life. But just as he had balled his fist and moved towards the SUV, a scared little voice got through,

“Hunter, please just drop it. And anyway we are getting late for the show.”
And once the haze of anger was broken, Arnav knew exactly what Hunter was trying to do. He was finally in control of himself, well whatever little control he could manage that is. And Hunter knew it when he saw it.

“It’s not your place to speak, you bitch.” The venom in his voice sent a chill through her veins. But this momentarily displaced anger gave Arnav enough time and space to just let go and move on. Although, he did feel sorry for the girl, knowing well that she had all but volunteered herself as Hunter’s punching-bag. After taking several steps in the opposite direction, he couldn’t stop himself from glancing back. The jeep was there still and Hunter was looking at the girl beside him with pure hatred and contempt. The girl, he couldn’t see her face, but as the breeze blew away the hair from her dusky shoulder, he could all but feel her shivers. A haze of dust got in way of sight, but also cleared the webs in his mind. He jerked himself back to the ground as the jeep sped away… stirring the dust… probably leaving some of it unsettled forever…

The dust clouded his vision and a sharp honk brought him back to the bus-stop, he had been standing at for quite a while now. This car had also left a stream of unsettled dust in its wake. Some things never change. He glanced at his watch, it was almost twelve. He hadn’t realized that he had been here for quite a few hours now. He had wanted to cool down, and in the absence of his trusted companion, his SUV, he had turned to his other trusted companion, one that had brought him comfort in that foreign land, in his time of distress, long before he could afford an SUV. He drew in another deep fag with a deep breath and held that breath in for a while, relishing the burn and the haze that he had denied himself for a very long time now. Quitting hadn’t really been as easy as those welfare adds make it out to be. ‘Anything for Di’ had been his mantra back then. Some things never change.. That thought, and the guilt had been back with a vengeance, drowning all the memories of his past that had been drowning him for quite a while now. He had once again treated his wife as his punching-bag.  What the bloody hell was her fault if that scumbag was a bloody scumbag. And then he had left her alone on the last night of their honey-moon. But, he didn’t trust himself around her, not when his murderous rage for Hunter was all he could think about. Cooling himself down was the best way. But it took longer than he had expected, the empty packet of cigarettes was another reminder of just how long. A sudden cold drop of rain dragged him out of the confines of his mind once again. He looked at the last lit cigarette in his hand, wanting to throw it but, the clasp of his hand just grew stronger. And Arnav Singh Raizada gave into the temptation all over again. This giving into temptation thing was happing a lot to him lately, since Khushi.

He swiped his card through the door lock and pushed the door quietly, pretty sure that his lovely wife would be snuggled up on the couch, wrapped in a shawl, tired of waiting for him. Arnav wondered what would happen if one day she finally gave-up on waiting… The room was relatively dark when he first entered. It took a minute for his eyes to adjust to the more milder lighting. The next moment his eyes searched the room for his wife. But she wasn’t there. He considered knocking the bathroom door, but the thought of what he was supposed to say to her after his brutish conduct earlier, stopped him in his tracks. After all sorry was still a less frequented territory for Mr. Raizada. Suddenly, there was a soft click and some recent but surprisingly pleasant melody invaded the room and his senses. More than a year with his Salmaan fan of a wife, he had become used to some random bollywood song playing on their music-system, every once in a while when he came back from his office in the evening. What happened next, however, was a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence.

Khuhsi emerged from behind the fancy medieval looking partition just as the lyrics, ‘ang laga de re; mohe rang laga de re’, reached him. A translucent white saree wrapped around her delectable form and a delicious blush on her beautiful face. She turned her back to him and holding the edge of the tasteful furniture, she swayed to the melody. ‘Ram ratan dhan lagan magan man tan mora chandan re.’ The arch of her neck inviting as was the curve of her waist. ‘ujli kori preet pea a satrang laga de re.’ Her fingers called him to her as she turned to face him and had he not been all but fixed to the spot, he would have rushed to her. ‘Ang laga de re; mohe rang laga de re. Main to teri joganiya, tu jog laga de re.’ She came towards him and right when he raised his arms in an attempt to pull her to him, she had evaded him once again and skidded off to the attached open balcony.

His eyes traced a rain drop as slid from her forehead to her chin to her neck finally disappearing in the valley of her breasts. ‘Raat banjar si hai, kale khanjar si hai.’ She twirled her way to him and then pulled him from the door and in the rain. ‘Raat banjar si hai, kale khanjar si hai, tere seene ki law mere andar bhi hai; tu hawa de ise to mera tan jale’ the much despised distance was there once again there as her now drenched form swayed to the beats… close and yet not close enough. ‘jala de re sang jala de re, mohe ang laga de re…’ the magic deepened as she became still, her eyes closed; strands of wet hair wrapped around her face and neck; her breathing shallow and with it, the alluring rhythm of her breasts; her soaked saree clinging to her every curve, barely a barrier... He stood still too, enchanted by the absolute beauty that doused his senses… that was there for his pleasure solely.

They were inside the room once again. He had no idea how or when he had come inside. He had just followed her. The seductress’s fingers slipped through his shirt, finally separating the lapels, opening his shirt. A slight touch of her hand grazed the skin of his chest as her breath warmed the column of his neck. He tries to trap her in his arm, but like a beautiful dream that she was, she eludes him all over again. ‘Raas hai raat mein, teri har baat mein’ She had once again disappeared behind the partition. His breath hitched as he watched her shadow unraveling the saree, a hand appeared from behind the divider and discarded the saree. Her face, visible above the cursed furniture, tuned sideways and her heavy, downcast lashes came in his line of vision. She lifted his shirt and… ‘Raas hai raat mein, teri har baat mein, bol mein kya karoon aise haalaat mein’ She emerged… a glorious goddess… in nothing but his soaked shirt. Her movements a little more conscious and abashed now, and yet the desire to please and be pleasured still visible in her eyes. ‘Hun mein teri malang, tu hi mera nasha’ She hugged him from behind, her arms wrapping around his waist and her face resting on his back. ‘Chadha de re bhang chadha de re, prem ki bhang chadha de re’ He turned, bringing her to his front, encasing her body within his arms. Her hand slipped in his hair and grasping a bunch she pulled his head back. ‘Mein to teri joganiya tu jog laga de re’ her heavy, pink eyes stared deep into his drugged ones.  ‘jog laga de re, prem ka rog laga de re…’ He lifted her in his arms and brought her to the bed, deftly placing her in the canter and in barely a second she was welcoming his warm weight on her… in her… ‘ Ram ratan dhan lagan magan man tan mora chandan re…

AN:  Hey guys, so what did you think about the latest chapter. I was a little unsure while writing this one. I have never written a song sequence before, it's really tricky. Please do let me know your verdict on this one. Also, any guesses on who the mystery woman is with Hunter in the flashback? :)

Love,
Srija :)

Arhi FF Chamkili. Ch- 15B 'Chamkili on Honeymoon.'

AN: Hey guys! Okay, so first of all really sorry for the delay but I recently downloaded all the seasons of Supernaturals and fell in love with Dean Winchester, so was having a little problem concentrating else where. But I am back with a new update finally and I hope that you guys will like it. Another important announcement, I am not going to continue with the fan-fic Tangent Worlds  as I have decided to convert it into a non-Arhi story. The story has many significant characters and plots and sub-plots and complete or even extra focus on Arhi was just not possible. However, once I am finished with it, I will post it in some form, hope to see you guys there too. Now, back to Chamkili....

                                  Chamkili
                               On Honey-moon…
                                   Part- 15B
“Arnavji?”

“Hmm?”

“Arnavji… Ah Aaah!”

“Mmmm!”

Well, after trying to claim his attention for quite sometime now, Khushi was pretty sure that just calling his name was not going to be enough. And so she grasped his hair and pulled him off her neck where he was busy kissing, sucking, biting, licking….

“Aaah Khushi! What the hell! Can’t you see I am busy?” He let out a frustrated growl.

There were few people who had the gifted talent to leave Khushi Kumari Gupta dumbfounded and Arnav Singh Raizada was one of those chosen few. However, even he didn’t achieve the feat on a regular basis. But right now he had managed to do just that… shut that rebellious and delicious mouth of his arch nemesis and eternal lover. She had first pouted in confusion and then blushed with understanding. And by the time she found her voice back, her Arnavji was once again… well let’s just say Busy…

“Arnavji?”

“Hmmm!”

“Arnavji, I am hungry.” She managed to squeak between moans.

“Hmm, me too baby.”  He empathized and then continued to draw the skin near her naval into his hungry mouth, sucking it with such ferocity that made his delectable wife arch her body and then hiss in pleasurable pain. Her hold on his hair became painful, and he relished the pain, fearful of its loss as a mad-man is fearful of losing his madness.

“Arnavji, wo wala hungry nahi, sachi-muchi wala hungry.” Came his wife’s shy whisper and he looked into her innocent eyes and chuckled. Well, nothing could ever come between Khushi and food, not even her equally hungry husband.
“Okay baby, I’ll order something.” He said and then moved towards the intercom on the bed-side table.

“No Arnavji, not the room-service again.” She pouted making Arnav smile.

“You don’t like the food here baby? No problem, we’ll order from somewhere else.” He said and then busied himself leafing through the pamphlets of the nearby food outlets.

“Arnavji, I don’t want to dine-in again. We haven’t left this room since we came in.” she complained, an adorable pout accompanying that.

“So?” he seemed genuinely confused.

“So?” she rounded her eyes with annoyance before further continuing.

“So, what will everyone say once we go back empty-handed, no gifts for anyone, not even pictures of places we visited.” She finished with a frustrated huff.

“Khushi, we are on our honeymoon and it seems like every other person in the whole wide world knows what it entails except you.” He seemed a little annoyed too.

Khushi knew when she needs to loosen the pressure and back-off… But she wasn’t doing it before giving it a last shot; a shot she knew would ensure her victory.

“Okay, whatever you say.” She turned her back to him and then paused for effect before continuing.
“Haan ye alag baat hai ki Nainitaal ghumna hamara bachpan ka sapna tha.” She smiled a wicked smile as she imagined her husband’s guilt ridden expression.
“When we were young, Sarita had come here with her family and she used to tell me all about the clear blue lakes and white snow-capped mountains and churches and gardens and everything. And as a little girl I used to dream of maybe some day coming here and seeing it, experiencing it all for myself. But, if you don’t want to go…” she left her words hanging. She had pulled the strings and knew that nothing could defeat her invincible husband but… her tears… well that was a different story. Her back still to his front, she smirked, confident of her victory.

“Khushi, come-on don’t be sad baby, we’ll go wherever you want to go.” She heard him, but her smile had not even fully stretched across her lips when she heard his drawl,
“Haan ye alag baat hai ki main ye complete week tumhare saath spend karna chahta tha. I was so excited about it. But then your meeting came and…” sharp guilt speared through her body and she turned to him instantly.

“Arnavji, I am so sorry, I’ll cance…” was that a ghost of smile that lingered on his lips? But it disappeared instantly, leaving her unsure of what she saw. However, the mirth in his eyes  could not deceive her...never.

“Arnavji, not fair! You played me.” She hit him on his chest and then pouted.

“Learnt from the very best ma’am.” He said with a mock salute and then kissed her temple, bringing back the sunny smile he lived for.

“Okay okay, we’ll go wherever you want to go, but in a while.” And with that said he once again started dropping wet kisses along her jaw. And then there was a loud grumbling. She blushed and he smiled looking at her.

“Pett mein se aawazen aa rahi hai?” he smiled at her indulgently and then dropping a kiss on her lips,  got up pulling Khushi along with him.

“Okay get ready now, we need to get some food in your system soon.”
___________________________________________________________

“Khushi, what the hell is that?”
She looked behind her and around her to find the thing that had freaked her husband out but nothing really seemed out of the ordinary.

“Kya?” she finally asked puzzled, her eyes rounded in confusion.

“What the hell are you wearing?”

“Huh?” she searched her light blue chiffon saree for holes or wrecks or anything that would explain her husband’s current disposition.

“Khushi it’s freezing out there, it’s practically November!” He sounded a curious mixture of concern and annoyed, kind of like her Buaji. A playful smile crossed her face at the thought.

“I’ll take a shawl Arnavji, you really don’t need to worry.” She showed him her pretty white shawl as if to back-up her claim.

“So everyone is out there with over-coats and sweaters and leather jackets and what not but a barely there shawl over a barely there saree is enough for you? Oh, and correct me if I am wrong but aren’t you the one that shivers if I set the air-conditioner’s temperature below 20 degrees!” he paused at Khushi’s flushed face and then resumed in a relatively calmer tone,

“I had packed some jeans and sweaters for you, they should be in my carry-all, please put those on. And there is a scarf and a pair of leather gloves too.”

“But, I don’t wear…”

“Oh, believe me, that would cover you way better than this flimsy saree.”
____________________________________________________

“You were mean but right, thank-you.”

“Huh?” Arnav really didn’t know what to say to that out of blue, out of context remark. And the context here being the angry silence that his wife had been holding for over sixteen minutes now. Well, he didn’t try to break it either because frankly he just wanted to see for just how long she could hold it. And sixteen it was!

“Earlier about the dress and everything, you were right.” The latter part of her statement was barely audible.

“I am always right Khushi, I am…”

“See, if you are going to be all ‘I am the all-mighty ASR’ again then I’ll stop talking, okay.” She was already annoyed at having to accept defeat and he wasn’t making it any easier.

“Now, I know you won’t do that because you just can’t, no one else to talk to over here baby. And not being able to talk was the reason that you apologized in the first place, right?” ASR was being, well ASRish again.

“I never apologized.” She said defending her stand. The not-being-able-to-shut-up-stuff was basically a taken-for granted-impossible-to-defend thing now, and so she decided to leave that territory out of the war zone.

“So what was it then? ‘You were right, I was wrong.’ Oh and…” He stopped in the mid of it all because though he was having fun teasing her,  he sure as hell didn’t want an angry and grumpy wife on the last day of their first honey-moon, and before you ask, he was more than sure that there were going to be several more. Hell, one marriage wasn’t enough, so how the hell could just one honeymoon do!

“Okay baby, I am sorry.” And saying that he pulled his white plastic chair closer to her red one and hugging her sideways, dropped a light kiss on her temple.

“You know Arnavji, I sometimes think that if someone had told me a year back that one day I’ll be drinking tea from a cheap plastic cup, sitting in a small dhaba and Arnav Singh Raizada, my husband Arnav Singh Raizada, would be sitting right next to me on a similar old plastic chair and sipping the five rupee tea from a fifty paisa cup, I would have just laughed in their face and then ran off towards the Himalayas.” They both smiled at that, well that was true… most of it anyway.

“Do you remember our first date?” she asked him, curious of what he might say.

“You mean the one with the annoying waiter that kept asking “table for two?” Hmm, I do seem to recall it. However I am not very sure if your date was with me or with the free biscuit.” He finished with a teasing smirk on his face and she smiled at the memory too. Pretty soon the smirk and the smile had blown into uncontrollable laughter.

“You remember that? I thought you’d say the other one.”

“The one where you popped the bubbly into another man’s soup or where you invited the entire family over on our movie-date?” he asked cheekily while cocking an eyebrow.

“Okay okay, so we end-up having crappy dates. Let’s remedy that today. Let’s just make today the most amazing date ever. Okay!” And with that said she got up pulling her husband with her and they headed towards the mountain peak that promised the best view of sun-sets.
___________________________________________________

“It was officially the most mesmerizing sight ever.” Khushi stretched and relaxed in her comfortable seat that the popular restaurant The Earl’s Court offered. It had been a busy day with all the sight-seeing and shopping and endless chatting and so at the end of it Arnav had suggested this place for dinner and Khushi had happily complied.

“Well, I could argue with you on that, but I don’t want to. So, what are we ordering? Italian, Chinese, Continental, Mediterranean?  They serve a wide variety around here.”

“Okay, let’s make this a little more interesting…we’ll make a little game out of it. I’ll put your knowledge of my likes and dislikes to test and if you perform well… Well then, maybe later tonight… I’ll perform.” She said with a teasing twist in her tone and a tinge of coyness in her eyes.

“Umhmm! Interesting!” and his hold on her hand got a bit more interesting too and the way he stared into her eyes was just intense.

“Ground rules, the food cannot be Indian.” She said without breaking the eye-lock.

“Ofcourse sweetheart! However, the performance must match the international standards too then, that’s only fair.”

“Done!”

“Done!”

Arnav then looked at the menu and chose certain items from there, the names of all of which sounded just bizarre to Khushi. He then went on to give certain specific instruction to the waiter regarding some of the cuisines he had ordered. It took him a while but he was finally done and more than sure of his victory he finally turned back to his wife… the wife who was more than willing to lose. Mind-blowing sex and on top of that an exquisite platter of exotic international, well life didn’t get any better than this. Khushi was more than proud at her business skills, she all but patted her back at a deal well made (actually, she did do it mentally though :P)

“ It’s going to take a while, so why don’t you tell me what’s on your mind.”

“Well tonight is going to be a surprise but if you promise me that you won’t laugh then I’ll tell you something… umm, a secret.”

“Okay?”

“You know, long before our marriage, when I just used to work at your house?”

“Yes?”

“Umm, Amma and Buaji had been bugging me about marriage for a while and then finally when I did think about it… I thought about being married to you.” The flush of pink on her skin deepened a bit more.

“What did you think about?” asked ASR, flirtation personified.

“Nothing, just about making jalebis for you, dressing-up for you, the saree incident earlier just brought back the memory. You know what’s funny though, even in my dreams, you were always the Rakshasha.” She finished with her tongue-in-cheek.

“Wouldn’t that be a perfect theme for the performance tonight? Beast ravishing the Beauty.” He said with a smirk flustering her and then continued further.

“I used to have dreams too you know, about you, since the moment I first laid my eyes on you.”

“Like?” she asked, curious and a little scared.

“The genre fits better with performance and though I could attempt an oral demonstration… but even 'oral' takes a different dimension there. How about I show you instead, later tonight?”

‘Why is it suddenly so hot in here?’ Khushi wondered as her throat went dry and she found herself at a lack of words.

“Hey Arnaav, is that you?”

Arnav’s back stiffened at that accented voice, while his wife just seemed curious. And soon the source of that voice was standing right next to their table. Oblivious to her husband’s reaction, Khushi was just stunned by the tall, white man with gorgeous blonde hair and beautiful dark eyes.

“Oh wow, it is you. It’s been long, six-seven years after college? How have you been? And who is this lovely woman?”

“I am fine. This is my wife, Khushi Singh Raizada. And Khushi, this is Benjamin Hunter, a Howard acquaintance.”  Arnav introduced them in a clipped tone, while the man in question was already pulling a seat next to the couple.

“More like buddies! And Kusi, I must say you are beautiful, my friend here is a very lucky man.” His tone was easy and friendly.

“Ji thankyou. You look good yourself Benjiminji.” She replied with a polite smile.

“Oh, please call me Ben, or Hunter if you wish.” He replied with a wink. Arnav could see that Khushi was uncomfortable with the situation and his own anger with increasing with every passing second. But there was nothing he could do, not without spoiling the wonderful day they had been having so far. Fortunately, just then the waiter came up with their food and Arnav hoped that Benjamin would take the hint and just leave, but the he did know that that was more of a wish.

“Wow, Italian, Continental, even Egyptian, the spread looks amazing. Kusi, I hope you don’t mind if I join you guys.” She looked at her husband and she knew that he wanted her to say no, but her middle class mannerism just wouldn’t allow her.

“Sure, Benjaminji.”

“I must tell you Kusi, it’s just like Arnaav. You know we had this little corner in our university that served Indian food and everyone just loved the food there, but this man here would hardly ever go to that place. And looking at the food here, it looks like nothing much has changed.” He paused to swallow the lasagna and then continued futher,

“Oh, except for the fact that he is married now. Who would have guessed that? I mean, the guy was barely ever committed, but then I was worse, right dude?”

The mention of college, Howard, girl-friends and everything brought to the forefront the questions that Khushi had struggled to push back. She wondered if Benjamin knew anything about Sheetal. Well, this was her chance to try and gather some information. But how exactly do you ask a stranger if they knew about your husband fathering an illegitimate child with an ex-girlfriend? All those Premchand books and the several Saritas and Vanitas that she had grownup reading seemed so useless in a time of crisis. She was pretty sure that the questions would come bubbling if she didn’t do something to calm down.

“Arnavji, I’ll just come back in a moment.” And saying that she walked towards the ladies-room, blissfully unaware of what she was about to witness, of what her leaving them alone would cause.
____________________________________________________

“I have to say that I can see why you decided to settle after-all.” Benjamin’s eyes were still glued to Khushi’s back and that did not go unnoticed by Arnav.

“Benjamin, we are on a date over here, so I hope you won’t mind leaving us alone.” He said in a clipped tone, his patience slipping off at a much quicker pace in the absence of his wife.

“Come-on now, it’s not like we haven’t shared a ‘date’ before. What was the name of that Indian bitch? The one you had sloppy-seconds with, after me of course.”

“Just leave.”

“Oh come-on now, don’t go all territorial now. This could be your chance to return the favor…”  his sentence remained incomplete as he was shocked into silence by a heavy and painful punch that his companion, the husband on the table had just thrown his way.

When she reentered the dining area, she was pretty sure that she was in control of herself and that she could handle the situation. Only, she had not expected to find their table over-turned, food spilled in all direction and three waiters trying to pull her husband off his college friend, who he was busy punching. It took her a moment to take it all in and then she rushed to her Arnavji, knowing well that only she could stop him from… killing the man?

“Arnavji, bass kijea. Maar dalenge kya?” she now had a firm grasp on his shoulder and was trying to pull him away from the bleeding, drooling mess that was Mr. Hunter.

“Haan maar dalunga. Iski himmat kaise hui tumhare bare mein aisa kehne ki.” He said without breaking the string of punches he was still busy throwing.

“Arnavji, please stop.” She all but cried and he stopped. The next moment she was being dragged out to the parking-lot by her very furious husband. Once near their car, she pulled back, freeing herself from his hold. He stopped and turned back to her. He was furious and she was not helping.

“What was all that about?”

“Khushi, don’t test my patience, just sit in the car.”

“Or what?”

In less than a second, she found herself caught between the steely car on the back and the no less steely man on the front.

“Don’t fuck with me right now Khushi, I don’t want to hurt you.” However, his hand twisting hers behind her back was singing a completely different tune.

“What is wrong with you? So he said something, so what! Why do you have to be such … such…”

“Such what, huh? Animal? Brute?”

“That’s not what I meant.”

“I don’t give a damn about what you say or mean. How dare he say all those filthy things about you! How dare he! You are mine. MINE! Samjhi tum? And if anyone, any-damn-one, would dare to even look at you, I’ll kill him. And you cannot stop me.” He all but growled in an icy tone, a dangerous fire lurking in his eyes and Khushi was terrified. He saw the terror in her eyes and that snapped him back to reality. And so loosening his hold on her wrist he moved back and then opened the passenger door for his woman who was still stunned, stupefied and stuck to that piece of ground.

AN: Please do let me know what you thought of this update, it's always a delight reading your lovely comments. Btw, Mr. Hunter here is to stay for a very long time now, so fasten your seat-belts for all the coming twists and turns. :)

PS: Presenting to you Benjamin Hunter,

PPS: Before you guys get any weird notions of even worse, images, let me make clear that when Ben talks about sharing dates, he is NOT talking about threesomes or foursomes or any such sick thing, Arnav would never do that. He might be referring to some woman that they both dated at different periods of time of course. Also, if it was not clear from the update, Arnav has had issues with this Ben guy since a long time now and what just happened just brought all the repressed anger back. Benjamin Huter is going to be a very very central character from now and he is here to stay for a long time. So be ready for more twists and turns :)

Srija

Arhi FF, Chamkili. Part- 15A. 'Chamkili on Honeymoon'

AN: Okay guys, first of all a little confession, well, I kind of suck at writing intimate scenes, so please be a little kind. However, whatever I have written, I did enjoy writing though I do hope to het as good as some other writers on the forum, some day... Anyway do give it a read and let me know what you thought of it. This one is all Arhi :)

Chamkili on Honeymoon…
Part 15A.

Some Light was seeping inside the room through very narrow slits in the carefully drawn curtains. It was as if she had decided that it won’t adhere to the arrogant wishes of self-assuming humans who thought that could deny her entry at mere whim. Well, she did have to thank Curtains though, her partner in crime. She wondered why humans were so foolish; flaunting what was worthless and even ugly and hiding the eternally beautiful. They fought wars, massacred lives and spilled blood, gloriously unabashed and yet concealed the glory of love in the pits of darkness. No, she was having none of it. If they were arrogant fools then she was an adamant bitch. How dare they deny her the pleasure of watching love at its rawest, crudest… best? How could she ever miss this sight of her small feminine frame encased within his larger masculine one? This was what helped her endure the forever, she was cursed with. She saw his possessive hold around her pliant waist and the look of contentment on her face as she laid there with her face buried in his chest. Her pale skin, tinged with saffron wrapped around his slightly tanned and work roughened form. Light beamed happily and brightly… well a little too brightly perhaps…
Khushi opened her eyes as the bright rays pierced through her shut lashes and she felt the warmth. This warmth, had nothing to do with the sun; no it’s the warmth one feels when they are surrounded by love, and the man whose love was surrounding her, seemed hell bent on suffocating her as well, if his tight hold around her was anything to go by. She smiled indulgently at the blatant possessiveness of her husband and took in the musky scent that was him. His scent mixed with hers, a reminder too potent of their amour, their love and its expression. The saffron tinge increased just a little around her face and neck as she thought back to their expression of love, not too long ago. She smiled and shifted a little so that she could take a closer look at his face. His hold was unyielding, reluctant to let go even a little bit. The child-like innocence on his face seemed so deceptive, almost incongruent to the man who had not too long ago made her whimper and groan and moan and even scream. Her shaitaan Raj-kumar. She smiled at the thought and with as little movement as possible; she maneuvered her body such that with her chin lying on his chest, very near the cleft between his shoulder-blades, she got a very clear and uninterrupted view of his face; every feature, every mole, every pore and every freckle was there in clear sight of her vision.
She wondered how long it had been since she had been engrossed in studying his face. He frowned a little and she found herself wondering at what must be bothering him, for that bothered her as well. The reason turned out to be the same playful beam of light that had not too long ago beamed brightly at her. She wondered what she could do about it. No one and nothing had the right to bother her Laad Governor, well besides her of course. Wriggling out of his hold was impossible without waking him up, she tried shading his face by her hand but that shameless intruder found her way around the wife’s dainty hands, also the position was a little uncomfortable and tiring, and then it struck her…
Arnav Singh Raizada was in for a pleasant surprise once he opened his eyes. His beautiful and absolutely naked wife was lying half atop him, her hair falling as a curtain, separating them from the rest of the world and into a cocoon that they… nah, that she had managed to create for them. And her eyes, those hazel flavored pools of chocolate were staring right into his own with such love that he couldn’t help but thank that deity he didn’t believe in for bringing this angle in his life. If left to his own devices, he would have done a brilliant job at pushing her away, not that he had let any stone un-turned anyway. If not for her Devi... nah, if not for Khushi’s own love, goodness and faith, he would have pushed away his only chance at happiness, without even realizing what he was losing. These thoughts of woulds and coulds made his chest constrict in pain. She must have seen the pain flit across his eyes, for the next moment he found her lips taking his in a deep, soulful kiss, coveying in her own unique way that they were meant to be… anyways and always. He smiled at the thought and that made Khushi break the kiss and look up at him, searchingly. He just shook his head and then once again took her lips in for another delicious kiss, taking charge this time.
Holding her by the nape of her neck and encircling her waist with his free hand, he pushed her on her back without breaking the kiss for even a second. Her fingers were lost in the lushness of his hair, pulling him closer still, as if the space to even breathe was needed less than his nearness. He broke the kiss and she moaned her displeasure. Trying to pull him back to her, she opened her eyes when she felt slight resistance on his part. What she saw, made her breath hitch, his eyes were fixed on her form and looking down at herself, she discovered that the thin barrier shielding her form from her husband’s hungry gaze had come undone long back. Suddenly feeling conscious of her scandalous posture, she slowly brought her hands to her chest, protecting her modesty the best she could by crossing her hands across her chest, she turned away from her husband… unwittingly offering him her gloriously naked back.
This nymph of a woman never ceased to surprise him and he loved every moment it. Just a moment ago she was kissing him with such enthusiasm that only lovers can boast of and pulling him to her with such desperation that only lovers suffer from. And in mere seconds she had transformed herself into an elusive, coy virgin.  His Khushi was a magician. His hand moved her hair further to the side and then the tips of his fingers touched her at the base of her spine. His touch was welcomed by a hiss of unbearable pleasure. His fingers traced the expanse of her back, gently… very gently moving towards her shoulders, playing her body like a flute and her body responded to his touch, dancing to his tune… like always.
His gentle touches were the toughest to endure. She squirmed in want and restlessness, the feeling of being there and yet not quite... Upon finally reaching her shoulder, Arnav paused to pepper random kisses around her nape and back. He lightly bit the juncture between her neck and shoulders and she hissed in pleasurable pain. Gently licking the spot, he soothed the pain while keeping the pleasure alive. What he was unaware of, however, was that at that moment it was pleasure that was unbearably torturous for his currently high-strung wife. And yet when he tried pulling her back to him, he felt slight resistance from her. Of course he knew that it was more out of a sense of societal propriety than any genuine unwillingness on her part. He bit her right ear-lobe and she hissed again clutching the bed-sheet more firmly, trying and failing miserably at reigning in her natural wantonness. Middle-class inhibitions invading the privacy of bed-rooms was not really an unheard of scenario. And yet, Arnav Singh Raizada had just as much respect for the norms of societal propriety as sun had for man made digital watches.
“Oh come-on Khushi, it’s not like I haven’t seen all this before. In fact sex is a part of our everyday routine now.” She heard his frustrated complaint but couldn’t see the teasing glint in his eyes and of course as Arnav had mentally  predicted, she turned to him in a flash. Her naked glory facing him, all thoughts of proper and improper lost.
Kya! To yeh sab aapke liye sirf routine hai?” she asked hurt. “Waise it is all my fault. Despite knowing you so well I still fell in love with the Laad Governor, so how can I complain now. Of course having se… I mean loving me is just like watching that blasted business channel for you. Laad Governor kahin ke! Why Devi Maiya, why me. Did you not like all the jalebis I served you as prasad for the last nineteen years of my life, that now my husband thinks that se… I.. I mean love is just a part of his routine...” Khushi continued with her rambling and Arnav sat there both amused and painfully aroused. Khushi, angry and naked, all at the same time was too good an opportunity to let go of. And so without alerting her, he moved his face closer to her breast. She felt his hot breath around her nipples and they pebbled almost instantaneously, her inhibitions back. But Arnav wasn’t going to give her another chance to back off and so firmly grasping her hands with his, he pushed those back into the sheet and then looking into her eyes said,

“loving you is as much a part of my routine as breathing is.” And without waiting for another moment, he had taken a round, alluring, juicy, nipple into the hot cavern of his mouth…He would never get enough of it and he was pretty sure that she had no complaints.
